Seeing the light! Naked Finance began life as three friends who decided that they wanted to see Financial Advice done differently. We all left our respective Multi-National Firms in favour of a more personal approach. We could see what was missing in the market; a one stop shop for financial advice, spoken with simplicity and honesty, and accessible to every Kiwi.

Have you ever felt like you were functioning on autopilot, not making a difference in your day to day? This was the prevailing feeling amongst the founding partners of Naked Finance. We saw a gap in the market for a full suite advisory that wasn't also a soulless corporation. We favoured the ability to be agile and move with the market ebbs and flows and work with each and every client as they needed. After discussing how we wanted to see things get done, and realising we were aligned in our vision, we decided it was time to make a splash and get started. We are honest, we bare all, we are Naked Finance.

Sean is a dedicated and highly motivated personal Wealth Adviser who believes that everyone should have access to high quality financial advice. His process is designed to identify Insurance and retirement income goals and lay out a series of steps to help his clients meet them, whilst ensuring overheads are met, risk is managed, and lifestyle is not compromised, to enable a secure financial future. When not working with his clients Sean is often found under the bonnet of his pride and joy - a bright yellow Mk 1 Ford Escort.
Jamie
Partner/Senior Financial Adviser
Jamie is always "on", to the occasional annoyance of his partners, but it keeps him process driven and ensuring the ship is running straight and true. Coming from a disciplined background in the New Zealand Police, Jamie believes that the best way to ensure an optimal outcome for a client is to follow a carefully created stepped plan. This ensures that any plan is customised and tailored to the exact needs of the individual, after all, every journey is different. When not at work, depending on the season you’ll either find Jamie on the water or in the snow enjoying all NZ has to offer.
Liam
Partner/Senior Financial Adviser
Liam Bratton started helping clients with mortgages right out of high school in 2005 and is our Specialist Mortgage Adviser. He prides himself on giving quality independent advice and teaching clients about the industry. No question is off limits and he loves sharing in the emotion and success that is buying a home!
Outside of the office, you’re likely to find Liam cruising the countryside with his three daughters in the back of his classic BMW or if he finds himself devoid of responsibility, a golf club or fishing rod wouldn’t be far away.
Elle
Financial Adviser
Having been in the Finance industry for 7 years Elle brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team at Naked Finance. Elle is particularly passionate about elevating financial literacy amongst women, a sector of the market which is sometimes over looked. She specialises in helping her clients with all needs relating to Risk and Investments.
Matt
Financial Adviser
Matt joined us from the busy world of foreign exchange trading, giving him a great grounding in the finance industry. Matt specialises in Mortgages and Investment, stating this is where his passion lies. When he isn't at work helping his clients, Matt can be found spending time with his young family.

Sarah comes from a strong background in the Insurance and Mortgage industry. She prides herself on ensuring each and every client has a smooth experience when dealing with us. If Sarah isn't in the office she can be found travelling and hiking, or tending to her indoor plants with her cat Dennis.
Sophia
Digital Marketing
Sophia left behind the classic corporate world with the hope of finding a more meaningful role with a 'company who cares'. She found a soft landing at Naked Finance. She brings a decade of digital experience to the table and when she is not creating content or maintaining our digital landscape, she can be found running round Auckland volunteering with animal rescues.
